(Not) Picture perfect: An IHE Careers Seminar

We would like to invite you to our upcoming IHE Careers Seminar, designed to support early and mid-career researchers. We will shift the career focus (at least for an afternoon) from publications and grants to show a more human story of success.

This seminar focuses on personal stories from academics and how they overcame personal challenges (e.g. combining work with caring duties, having health issues or disabilities, belonging to a minority group). We will hear from Kurinchi Gurusamy, Professor of Evidence-based Medicine and Surgery, and Joe Jacob, Wellcome Trust Career Development Fellow in Respiratory Medicine.
