Yash Vekaria

University of California, Davis

Yash Vekaria is a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the University of California, Davis. He is passionate towards making our web more secure and private for everyone. His doctoral research is focused on studying security and privacy issues in the online advertising and tracking ecosystem through large-scale Internet measurements. His current work is focused on studying privacy issues in emerging tracking mechanisms in a post-cookie world. He has been a visiting research scholar at Max Planck Institute for Informatics and a cybersecurity summer fellow at Georgia Tech. He was recently awarded GGCS Ph.D. fellowship at UC Davis.
