Engineering Virtual Taster Lecture Series - Lab-grown Food: How Can We Grow Sustainable Foods?
Meat without slaughtering animals? Milk without the cow? Join Dr Petra Hanga for this virtual lightning lecture in exploring new ways of making sustainable animal-derived foods such as meat or milk through biotechnology and bioprocessing in the newly emerging field of Cellular Agriculture.

This Taster Lecture, is one of six presented by UCL Biochemical Engineering, part of the Spring into STEM webinars from UCL Engineering.
Petra was a Lecturer in Biological Engineering at Aston University, Birmingham, UK, before joining UCL. Petra holds a BEng in Biochemical Engineering from Babes-Bolyai University, Romania and a PhD in Regenerative Medicine from Loughborough University, UK as part of the EPSRC DTC in Regenerative Medicine.
