UCL Computer Science Black History Month Celebration

The in-person evening will include a fun ice breaker, a talk from Professor Dorothy Monekosso (Professor of Computer Science at Durham University and Chief Technical Officer at More Life UK Ltd) and panel discussion with Black women in computer science. The following panel members will be joining the event:

• Sophie Martin, UCL PhD Student, Centre for Medical Image Computing
• Morenike Magbagbeola, UCL Post Graduate Researcher, Surgical Robot Vision Group
• Favour Borokini – PhD student at Nottingham University (African AI and tech ethics researcher)
• Natasha Musonda, Senior Analyst at Avanade
• Dr Rashada Harry, Amazon Web Services Enterprise Account Director

Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions and network after the talks during the social with delicious Caribbean food.

Online event: The keynote speaker talk and panel discussion will be streamed online from 5pm to 6.30pm - please choose the appropriate ticket when registering for this event, and a meeting link will be shared with you.
