The Present and Future of Large Language Models in Theory and Practice

Language models have over the last few years made amazing progress in terms of the quality of their output. Recent research advances have even caught the public’s attention in the form of for example ChatGPT. In light of these advances, the UCL Centre for Artificial Intelligence is holding a one-day workshop on this topic to bring together researchers and practitioners working on Large Language Models for short talks and plenty of discussion what may come next and what the weaknesses of current systems are.
