14th International Crime Science Conference 2023
Join us on 19 June for an event showcasing research on the topic of ''Organised crime: the present and the future”

This conference has now been sold out.
Organised crime is evolving. A problem that has long cut across geographical and cultural boundaries has now moved into the online/digital landscape, creating a new front for law enforcement. At the same time, criminal organisations continue to cause great harm by exploiting traditional business models and the intersections between different crimes, such as corruption and human trafficking or economic crime and terrorist financing.
What are the key challenges of the day? How are those challenges evolving? What might organised crime look like ten, twenty years from now?
This conference will showcase international research into this complex phenomena, advancing the current state of our understanding. We will look at current responses, as well as anticipate future crimes and their mitigation. The event will cover a broad range of crimes, geographies, technologies, disciplines and methods.
The conference will bring together leading practitioners, policy-makers, technologists and academics.
The full day programme includes lunch and ends with an evening drinks reception.
The event is co-sponsored by the Dawes Centre for Future Crime at UCL, and the UK’s Economic and Social Research Council.
