Spring into STEM | Machine Learning for Cities

14 Apr 2023, 14:00 – 14:30

Dr Tim Hillel

Lecturer in Analytics of Infrastructure Systems

Tim leads the Behaviour & Infrastructure Group at UCL, which aims to build a deeper understanding of urban systems and infrastructure networks using human behaviour as the central component of analysis. The methodological approaches employed within the group are diverse, and combine machine learning and artificial intelligence, statistical modelling, optimisation, and simulation. The group sits within the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering (CEGE) at UCL, co-affiliated with both the Infrastructure Systems Institute (ISI) and the Centre for Transport Studies (CTS).
