Shalima Sreenath is a Chemical Engineer who currently works with Cellibre – a cellular agriculture company based out of San Diego, USA as a process engineer, heading downstream process development and scale-up. Shalima has over 7 years of industrial experience in the food/nutraceutical industry scaling up processes from lab to manufacturing and working on new build outs.

Prior to joining Cellibre, Shalima was a Process Engineer with Beyond Meat leading capital expansion projects globally and working on new product introductions and commercial launches in the plant-based protein market. Shalima began her career with Kerry – world leader in Taste and Nutrition -- where she undertook both Process and Project Engineering roles with Kerry’s multiple business units.

Shalima earned her Masters in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University and her Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS Pilani), India.
