As part of the Amba-series “Covid-19 : Science and Policy”, the Higher Education, Research and Innovation Department at the French Embassy to the United Kingdom, in partnership with the Inria London programme and the Franco-British Data Society, has organised a webinar on the role of AI in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

French Embassy to the UK hosts Covid-19 and AI webinar in partnership with UCL and Inria

University College London (UCL) is pleased to be partnering with the French Embassy to the United Kingdom to present this important event.

The Covid-19 pandemic has triggered a remarkable response from many scientists. Statisticians, epidemiologists, data scientists, and researchers in artificial intelligence (AI) have contributed to the production of analyses, tools and platforms to better understand the dynamics of the propagation of the virus and the efficiency of isolation policies, to name but a few.

Speakers on the day include Dr Benjamin Guedj (UCL Computer Science, UCL AI Centre, and Inria) and Professor Geraint Rees, Professor of Cognitive Neurology & Pro-Vice-Provost (AI) at UCL.
