The Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering (EEE) will be showcasing opportunities for prospective postgraduate students on 17 Febraury 2020 at University College London.
Join our team as they speak about the various degree programmes on offer along with an overview of what life at EEE and UCL in general has to offer!
The open day will also feature the world-leading faculties of The Bartlett, Faculty of the Built Environment, The Faculty of Engineering Sciences and the Faculty of Mathematical and Physical Sciences, who have put their heads together to offer you an exciting, insightful afternoon at UCL. You will have the chance to attend academic subject talks, Drop Ins and One-to-One meetings with tutors and researchers from your subject of interest.

Prof. Miguel Rio is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering. He did his undergraduate studies in University of Minho, Portugal and his PhD in the University of Kent, United Kingdom. His dissertation was in Quality of Service Multicast, a topic he still pursues. He was a post-doctoral at UCL where he research programmable networks and congestion control. Since then he has helped to coordinate several projects both at the UK and EU level. HE has made substantial contributions to network measurement, network routing and peer-to-peer networks.
