Mental Health and Travel report launch

About 25% of the population has been diagnosed with at least one mental illness. This can make travel difficult by affecting the ability to interpret information, to concentrate, and to have the confidence to take decisions and interact with other people.

A talk by report author Prof Roger Mackett, followed by a networking drinks reception, will present findings from an online survey on mental health and travel carried out by the Centre for Transport Studies at UCL, and launch the written report containing the evidence. A number of recommendations will be made based on said survey evidence.
