UCL Computer Science Student Showcase 2019
UCL Department of Computer Science would like to invite you to join us for our annual Student Showcase 2019. This is a special event to celebrate the hard work and achievements of our undergraduate and postgraduate students, who are working on industry and research projects during terms 1 and 2 this year. We will be displaying the work of over 240 Computer Science students who have been working in project teams.
The Showcase takes place on Tuesday 23rd April 2019.

UCL Department of Computer Science would like to invite you to join us for our annual Student Showcase 2019. This is a special event to celebrate the hard work and achievements of our undergraduate and postgraduate students, who are working on industry and research projects during terms 1 and 2 this year. We will be displaying the work of over 240 Computer Science students who have been working in project teams.
This year we are especially proud to showcase the UCL CS Industry Exchange Network's student projects engaging the NHS, as referred to in the Government's published Topol Review. Over a third of our student projects have been healthcare related covering a wide variety of Computer Science topics, partnered with clinical teams in the NHS from across the UK.
The Showcase takes place on Tuesday 23rd April 2019, with the following draft agenda for your diaries:
- 8:30am - 9am Morning Registration at UCL Roberts Building
- 9am - 11am First half of our student presentations (in two parallel sessions, Health part 1 and SMEs) taking place at UCL Roberts Building
- 11:30am to 1:30pm Student Posters and lunch at North Cloisters.
- 1:30pm - 2pm Afternoon Registration at UCL Roberts Building
- 2pm - 4pm Second half of our student presentations (in two parallel sessions, Health Part 2 and Enterprise) at UCL Roberts Building
For IXN guests (current collaborators and potential collaborators)
- 4pm - 5pm Industry guests and Academia "Syllabus of the future" session at UCL Roberts Building
- 5pm -6pm Networking mixer for IXN guests and UCL staff
We will have many industrial partners and collaborators present on the day, including Microsoft, NHS Digital, IBM, ARM, NTT Data, Great Ormond Street Hospital, Ocado and others.
We will follow-up with a confirmed programme at a later date.
A Student Showcase Book of Abstracts will be produced highlighting all of the students works with industry and research.
We would encourage you to come and discover some of the amazing work our students have produced over terms 1 and 2 this year, and also to meet with our many industrial partners and collaborators.
