The EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Cyber-Physical Risk is a national research centre led by UCL Security and Crime Science and UCL Computer Science. We are dedicated to training the next generation of leaders capable of tackling the complex challenges posed by cyber-physical risks and disinformation in today’s hyperconnected societies.
With cyber and physical spaces converging, threats to critical infrastructure, autonomous systems, and smart cities are growing. To respond, our CDT brings together expertise from multiple disciplines, including crime science, computer science, statistics, engineering, psychology, and media studies. We foster a collaborative environment that supports students in developing cutting-edge research on pressing security issues.
Funding
The CDT has fully funded studentships available, covering tuition fees, an annual stipend of approx £31,000, and and a generous amount to cover project and conference travel costs. Please note that this funding is currently only available to full-time students eligible for UK rates.
