Renowned for groundbreaking advancements in RF sensing and radar technology, our teams are shaping the future of radar applications for both environmental monitoring and advanced signal processing.
With expertise in bistatic and netted radar, multifunction phased array radar, waveform design and synthetic aperture radar, the team is internationally recognised for pioneering work in multistatic RF sensing, including the development of the NeXtRAD radar platform. Their research extends to geophysical imaging, such as Antarctic ice monitoring, and radar signal processing using machine learning to analyse micro-Doppler signatures from various targets. Our teams also explore sonar signal processing, electromagnetic applications, antenna arrays, and terahertz systems for sensing and imaging.
