Applications for the British Science Association Media Fellowships are now open.
This year we have decided as a faculty to sponsor three placements to give UCL Engineering staff the opportunity to spend time working with the media. Previous placements have included time at the BBC, Channel 4, the FT, and the Mirror.
This is a great opportunity for all academic staff from Postdocs right through to Emeritus Professors to gain an experience of the media industry and to give scientists and engineers a voice within that industry.
The Fellowships will comprise a training day, placement, attendance at the British Science Festival and a leadership day to present your development and dissemination activities.
The deadline for applications is April 1st and you can find an application form here.

The Faculty Board is on Monday 18th March, 2-4pm at the Roberts Building Lecture Theatre 106 and you can RSVP to Maria Speight here
