The EIL is well-equipped with facilities for carrying out a wide range of fabrication, test and characterisation.
Our EIL Laboratories house the Zeiss Xradia 810 Ultra and Xradia 620 Versa; Nikon XTH 225 and Tescan UniTOM HR. Larger scale demonstration facilities are available, such as in the Fuel Cell Hybrid Vehicles Lab, as are computer facilities and the rapid prototyping workshop.
*Higher values in the radar diagram (right) represent better performances (e.g. the TESCAN UniTOM HR acquisition time is the fastest of the group and the ZEISS Xradia 810 Ultra displays the best spatial resolution).

APL Laboratory UCL East
The Tescan UniTOM HR is located at the Advanced Propulsion Lab at the UCL East Marshgate building in Stratford.
EIL X-ray Laboratory
The Electrochemical Innovation Lab houses the Zeiss Xradia 810 Ultra, 620 Versa and the Nikon XTH 225.
