Background
Guanxu Chen is a PhD student in the UCL Electrochemical Innovation Lab. She received the BEng degree with honours in Materials science and Technology from the University of Birmingham in 2017 and the MSc degree in Advanced Materials from UCL in 2018.
Research Summary
Guanxu’s research project studies novel layered two-dimensional nanomaterials including transition metal oxides, sulphides, nitrides, etc. To facilitate the materials development in the stability and rate performance of the nanostructures, the as-synthesised novel materials will be studied using in-situ and in-operando techniques.
