The Explore Econ conference showcases the best research by UCL Economics students.
Explore Econ is the annual undergraduate student research conference, organised by the Centre for Teaching and Learning Economics (CTaLE) in the Department of Economics, showcasing your economics research both in and outside the curriculum.
BSc students are invited to submit a paper, poster or EconFrame photo competition entry before Wednesday 26 April. All submissions will reviewed by our Scientific Committee, with the best entries shortlisted for peer review. The shortlisted entries will be showcased online for a second round of peer shortlisting, with the best entries awarded prizes and invited to present at the Explore Econ conference in June.
The best entries will also be submitted for publication in the Economic Tribune's Journal of Economics.
Prizes are awarded in following categories:

- Best Research Poster
- Popular Vote - Paper
- Popular Vote - Poster
- EconFrame Photo Competition
- First Year Challenge
- Stone Centre Prize
