UCL Economics academics recognised by The Econometric Society

Three Professors in the Department of Economics have been elected to various roles in The Econometric Society.

Aureo De Paula, Antonio Cabrales and Christian Dustmann

Professor Aureo De Paula, has been elected to serve in the Econometric Society Council representing Latin America and as the chair of the Econometric Society Regional Standing Committee for Latin America, in addition to his current role as Fellow.

Professors Antonio Cabrales and Christian Dustmann, Director of CReAM have also been elected as Fellows of the Econometric Society.

The Econometric Society is one of the preeminent associations in Economics and its mission is to advance economic theory in its relation to statistics and mathematics. The society publishes the journals, Econometrica, Quantitative Economics, and Theoretical Economics and organises scientific meetings across the globe.
