UCL Department of Economics ranks 8th according to The Guardian

The Department rose from 25th to 8th place in The Guardian University Guide 2022 for Economics and is credited for UCL’s overall jump into the top 10.
The Guardian University Guide’s 2022 has placed UCL 9th in it's rankings, it’s best performance in nearly a decade. The Department of Economics was named as the “main driver of UCL’s improvement climbing from 25th to 8th place in a subject with a large student intake, high entry standards and very good career prospects.”
The Guardian’s rankings are based on a score out of 100 with criteria including course satisfaction, teaching quality, feedback, the student to staff ratio, spend per student, average entry tariff and career prospects.
