In this year's update, the citations to the papers of 3,225,122 authors in Clinical Medicine, were assessed, including 89,635 authors in the Dentistry subfield. Among these 89,635, a total of 556 ranked in the top 100,000 most-cited authors across all scientific fields and 1,859 ranked in the top 2% most-cited authors in the Dentistry sub-field worldwide.
