Dental Microscopy: Restorative Dentistry for Dental Nurses

This one-day course will provide you with the practical and theoretical knowledge and skills needed to competently assist with restorative dental treatment.

Please note this is a combined course with Dental Microscopy: Restorative for dentists. Nurses must attend with his/her dentist.

One full day.

6.5 hours verifiable CPD.

The day will run approximately 9:30am - 5pm.

Aims and objectives

This course aims to teach you the techniques and skills to competently assist during restorative dental procedures using dental microscopes. 

Anticipated outcomes

By the end of the course you should be able to confidently assist in restorative dental procedures. 

Quality controls

All teachers on the Institute's courses are experienced professionals. All participants are asked to submit written feedback via a questionnaire at the end of the course, which is used to monitor the course's quality of teaching and value for money.

Teaching and assessment

The course will start with a short presentation followed by a day of practical exercises.

Entry requirements

Participants must hold an approved dental nurse qualification and MUST be attending with a dentist on the Dental Microscopy course.
