Dental Sedation and Pain Management 

CPD Option

Overview

The Dental Sedation and Pain Management PG Certificate is a part-time, one year programme in standard sedation techniques to develop students’ theoretical and practical competencies in the fast-developing world of sedation and pain management. The programme includes clinical attachments with sedation clinics, and is not available to international dentists.

International dentists can take the theoretical components of the Certificate as a Continuing Professional Development course.

This is a ten-day CPD course run alongside the PG Certificate. You will receive a CPD certificate for 65 verifiable CPD hours.

You will be given an MCQ exam on Saturday 27 October.

Who this course is for

This CPD course is for dental practitioners, including dental hygienists and therapists, and medical practitioners. You do not need to be registered in the UK to take this course.

Further information

You will be a CPD student at UCL Eastman Dental Institute, but you will not be a UCL student, nor will you receive a UCL qualification. 

You will not have access to the UCL library, or Moodle, nor will you be completing the essay component of the PG Certificate.
