Programme

This is an interactive one-day hands-on course which will introduce you to treatment planning, case preparation and clinical techniques in placing implants in extraction sockets in the anterior zone where appropriate. It will also cover planning the ideal position, depth and inclination via a digital workflow and digitally produced implant stent.

Additionally you will practice modern approaches with modern materials on soft tissue handling and GBR.

By the end of the day, you should be better practiced in the following procedures:

  • immediate implant placement into an upper anterior extraction socket
  • step by step design and use of the M-guide for guided implant surgery
  • incision flap designs in the aesthetic zone
  • intraoral preparation and placement of free gingival graft into the extraction socket
  • horizontal guided bone regeneration (GBR) using allograft and resorbable membrane
  • preparation and placement of connective tissue graft harvested from the palate
  • different suturing techniques

You will also have the opportunity to work on bespoke clinical case models with simulated soft tissue.
