UCL’s Climate Science Research Network (CIREN) connects diverse climate science research across UCL teams and beyond.

CIREN Overview and Joining Information

CIREN is a cross-UCL network established in 2025. The group aims to foster networking and building connections throughout UCL’s diverse climate research community, mapping activity across UCL and bringing together teams, groups, departments, and faculties.

Led by the CIREN Steering Group, the network will come together via a series of events amongst climate researchers from within UCL and beyond. This will facilitate a strong and diverse network of climate scientists connecting across UCL as well as routes to bring in external expertise, and transfer our knowledge beyond UCL.
