In this meeting of UCL's Early Modern English Reading Group, we will discuss Thomas Nashe's bizarre, kaleidoscopic 1589 prose work 'To the Gentlemen Students of Both Universities' (also known as the 'Preface to Menaphon'). Dr Chris Stamatakis (UCL English Language and Literature) has kindly offered to lead the session.

As with previous meetings, please contact either Fraser McIlwraith (fraser.mcilwraith.15@ucl.ac.uk) or Kate Kinley (catherine.kinley.19@ucl.ac.uk) to register your interest. Reading materials will be circulated in advance of the meeting, together with a short introduction to the text.

All are welcome to join – the Reading Group has always been an informal occasion (featuring wine and snacks). We look forward to seeing as many people there as possible!
