Special Issue of the Journal of Neuroscience Research featuring members of the UCL Ear Institute
9 September 2020
Congratulations to former UCL Ear Institute member Lisa Nolan who has edited a Special Issue of the Journal of Neuroscience Research featuring many articles from members of the UCL Ear Institute.
Former UCL Ear Institute member Lisa Nolan has edited a Special Issue of the Journal of Neuroscience Research on "Age-Related Hearing Loss: A new focus on an age old puzzle". The publication features many articles from the UCL Ear Institute community including Anwen Bullen, Helena Wells and Lucy Anderson.
The special issue has pulled together some exciting names and research into the effects of ageing and hearing loss covering everything from cochlea to cognition, with an obligatory stop – just as in the auditory pathway – at the auditory thalamus.
Furthermore, Anwen Bullen and Lucy Anderson met with Lisa Nolan to discuss potential designs for the cover image for the Special Issue. With the additional help of Gareth Eldrett, not only did they fully design the cover image but also an accompanying cover animation. This is the first time that Wiley have implemented an animated cover.
