Michelle Craft

Programme Manager and Senior Research Associate

With a background in research governance and quality assurance, I joined the evidENT team in 2018 to contribute to their portfolio of clinical research across ENT, Hearing and Balance. More specifically, I am responsible for the efficient running of two clinical research projects; the REGAIN early phase trials of a Notch inhibitor aimed at restoring hearing in adults with sensorineural hearing loss (EU Horizon 2020 €5.8m) and the MACRO programme to define best management of chronic rhinosinusitis (NIHR Programme Grant for Applied Research £3.2m).

Prior to evidENT, I completed an upper second Honors Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Technology Sydney, as well as, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Clinical Trials Practice at the University of Sydney. To embark on my international clinical trials career, I flew over to London, UK and started work as a Clinical Trial Coordinator at the Institute of Cancer Research, working on Phase I clinical trials of solid tumors. After a few years, I joined UCL as a Compliance and Oversight Advisor at the Joint Research Office (UCL/UCLH), where my role involved auditing and monitoring various CTIMPs clinical trials, from Phases I to IV.
