Translational Research Manager
With a background in Psychology, I joined the evidENT team as a Translational Research Manager. I work closely with colleagues across the Ear Institute, the NIHR UCLH Biomedical Research Centre and the Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals to help expand the portfolio of translational research, as well as advancing translational projects towards clinical, commercial and societal impact.
Before joining UCL, I worked at a translational research centre at the University of Sheffield, writing grant applications and building relationships with industry. I have a PhD in Neuropsychology from the University of Aberdeen where I investigated the residual chromatic processing abilities of patients with blindsight. After finishing my PhD, I worked for a number of years on clinical trials evaluating interventions for mental health at the Universities of Glasgow and Edinburgh.
