Ms Elizabeth Arram

Research Audiologist

I have worked as a diagnostic and rehabilitive audiologist over the last ten years, since graduating from Bristol Univeristy in 2009 with a BSc in Audiology. I am currently working as the research audiologist on the REGAIN clinical trial, which is investigating the regeneration of cochlear outer hair cells with a gamma secretase inhibitor. My role on this trial is to carry out the hearing and balance assessments, recruit participants and facilitate the coordination of the trial. I also work as a Specialist Diagnostic Audiologist at the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital.

In 2017 I completed an MSc in Advanced Audiology at UCL, with my dissertation focussing on superior semicircular canal dehiscence and whether surgery will improve a patient’s symptoms and quality of life.
