Heidi is the research manager for the MRC National Survey of Health and Development Neuroimaging Sub-study. The specific aims of the study are to identify brain changes that accompany healthy ageing and to detect brain changes that in due course might help to predict who is at risk of developing dementia, particularly Alzheimer's disease. Heidi's responsibilities include developing protocols and standard operating procedures, managing timelines, preparing progress reports, and overseeing the day-to-day management of the study.
