Shabti funerary figure
If you look at the back of this clay shabti, you can see faint traces of the name of the owner, Payi-denu-rega, written vertically in partially preserved black hieroglyphs.
If you pan across the shoulders and arms of the front of the shabti, there are also traces of yellow paint or slip.
The standing figure is mummy-like in shape, wearing a shoulder-length wig. This is one of a group of 11 shabtis in the museum belonging to this individual (UC29999A-J).
