In this Painless Introduction Simon Mahony and Ulrich Tiedau will discuss the promise, potential and challenges presented by new initiatives in the construction and delivery of open educational resources.
This will be informed and illustrated with insights gained from DHOER, the Digital Humanities Open Educational Resources project which is part of the JISC funded OER programme - phase 2.
Simon Mahony is Teaching Fellow in Digital Humanities at UCLDH, and Ulrich Tiedau is Lecturer in modern Low Countries History and Society and Associate Director of UCLDH.
