We are pleased to invite you to the Digitisation Perspectives book launch. Edited by Ruth Rikowski and published by Sense Publishers, the book is part of the 'Educational Futures: Rethinking Theory and Practice' series, edited by Michael A. Peters. The book features a chapter contributed by UCLDH's Melissa Terras: 'The Rise of Digitization: An Overview'. You can download the Free Preview from the publishers' site [PDF, 1.3 MB].
The book will be introduced by Andy Dawson,
Senior Teaching Fellow and MSc Information Science Programme Director at the UCL Dept of
Information Studies.
Other speakers include: Paul Catherall, London-based printmaker and illustrator, Julianne Nyhan, Teaching Fellow at the UCL Centre for Digital Humanities, and the book's editor Ruth Rikowski herself.
