As part of the UCL India Voices Season, we welcome you to a talk by Dr Prashant Jha, Fellowship Director of the BioDesign program at the School Of International Biodesign, AIIMS, New Delhi. A frugal innovator who has developed a range of devices (from monitoring foetal and maternal health to detecting stroke), he now also trains next generation of health tech leaders in his class, who innovate cutting edge, yet low-cost medical devices for a global healthcare market. With India's growing expertise in affordable medical innovation, should the NHS be looking to India in the quest to adopt cheaper, smarter health technologies?
