Study Here

The CDT's vision is to provide a unique studentship experience that will produce highly trained and employable PhD graduates with advanced and widely applicable skills in DIS, who will ultimately become the future leaders of this field in both academia and industry.

In addition, by bringing together DIS experts from a range of sectors and fields, it will promote the development of new DIS techniques or the application of existing techniques to new areas, which will have a wide and significant impact on all sectors.

Applications deadlines:

Applications for September 2023 intake are now open, with over ten fully funded studentships available. The application deadline is 10am on 3rd February 2023, with interviews taking place around mid-February 2023. While we may accept an application after the deadline, we can not guarantee you will get an interview if your application is late. We will have full studentship opportunities (tuition fees and a maintenance stipend, i.e. subsistence allowance) available for home, and international students, so we encourage all interested students to apply regardless of their residency status. International students must submit their applications by 13th January if they want to be considered for all studentship possibilities.
