This workshop introduces the concept of reimaging past and future living landscapes and cultures in Sudan. Join Ahmed Akasha and explore the power of building, layering and shaping through collage to create new visual definitions of place.

This one-off workshop accompanies UCL Museums & Cultural Programmes exhibition Sudan Living Cultures, a collaborative project between the Petrie Museum and three independent artists, showcasing the power of transgenerational knowledge through material heritage and artistic practice.

This workshop is part of UCL Museums & Cultural Programmes 2024-25 series Architecting Futures, bringing together culture, collections and research towards common hopeful futures.
