Family Event: Make Your Own Zine!

11am - 2pm: Free drop-in for all family visitors. Booking not required.
Travel back in time to ancient Egypt and Sudan and take part in a zine-making workshop. Use simple stencilling, mark-making, collage and cut-ups to create your own magazine in this workshop led by artist Jaquie Feldman.
Enjoy the Petrie Museum and be inspired by the collection of more than 80,000 objects from Egypt and Sudan, from pyramid texts and mummy portraits to pot burials. At the end of the workshop, you will have your zine to take away and share with friends and family.
This workshop is suitable for ages 6+ but young children will need adult help. We will have colouring sheets available for younger children.
