Family Event: Dr. You's Case Notes - The Starling and the Echidna

Meet Research Assistant Alex Vector, who needs help to complete Dr You’s case notes. Unravelled through a series of stories, tasks, play and creative thinking, Alex invites you on an interactive adventure around the Grant Museum as part of Dr You’s research team.

Choose to explore individually, as a team, or with Alex! Asking staff and volunteers questions about exhibits is encouraged - as is coming up with your own theories.

‘Dr You’s Case Notes’ is a series of storytelling events developed by Moulded Theatre Company for the Grant Museum of Zoology.

Background

This workshop continues our event series En/Countering Colonialities: Legacies in the Museum which runs from 1 February to 28 March 2025. It’s part of our Architecting Futures season, bringing together art, collections and research towards common hopeful futures.

Audience

This is an intergenerational workshop, suitable for all ages and abilities. Everyone is welcome.

Booking

This event comprises two sessions:

• Bookable session at 13:00
• Drop-in session from 14:00-16:00 where booking is not required.

Booking for the 13:00 session opens at 12 noon on Monday 10 February 2025.
