Recruitment: Public Engagement Coordinator (Temporary)

The Engagement team is looking for a temporary coordinator to help deliver this year’s PhD training programme, Train & Engage, support the Community Engaged Learning Service (CELS) evaluation and support delivery of some Co-Production Collective sessions.

It's an exciting opportunity for someone looking to get experience in working with a central Public Engagement team at a University, as well as find out about some of the latest Engagement practice through both CELS and the Co-Production Collective.

We strongly encourage applications from those who are underrepresented in the sector and at UCL including but, not exclusive, to non-graduates, disabled, D/deaf and neurodiverse people, LGBTQ+ people, people from Black, Asian and ethnic minority backgrounds, especially women. We also welcome applicants from a range of educational backgrounds and therefore do not require a minimum formal qualification for this role.

The role will be paid through UCL’s UniTemps system at Grade 6 level so an hourly rate of £18.19 which includes holiday pay (day rate of £123.77 including holiday pay). The role is for 44 days between Monday 24th May and Friday 30th July.

This role would be ideal for someone with experience in community groups looking to get experience in Higher Education, recent graduates, PhD students or anyone looking to get into this line of work. The role doesn’t require a degree.
