Free Poetry Creative Writing Workshop for school students
Work with poets and writers from the UCL English Department in this creative writing workshop at the Petrie Museum, one of the greatest collections of Egyptian and Sudanese archaeological collections in the world.

During this all day workshop students will work with academics, all published poets and writers, in the Petrie Museum and in the English department. They will learn about the formal aspects of writing poetry and gain inspirationfrom objects during a workshop in the Petrie Museum. With ideas and inspiration, students will go back to school with the tools to develop their poems and creative writing. They will meet students and find out what it’s like to come to UCL and to study English and a tour of the campus is part of the day.
