The Crick offers a range of options for students wishing to gain experience in a laboratory environment.
- Work experience
The Crick's work experience scheme offers students studying in Camden to experience first-hand the wide range of roles essential to the work of the Crick. For further details visit the Crick's work experience webpage
- Master's and undergraduate students
If you're registered for a master's or undergraduate degree in the UK or elsewhere in Europe we can host you to complete your thesis project.
You can spend up to nine months in a host laboratory at the Crick. You should usually have your own funding to support your living costs while you are there. A number of criteria apply to this scheme and full details are available here
- Summer student programme
The Crick's nine-week summer student programme provides bright, ambitious undergraduates considering a future in biomedical research with hands-on experience of what it's like to work in a research lab. Full details of the programme can be found here.
- 12 month sandwich (undergraduate) programme
Sandwich students join one of the Crick's research groups or science technology platforms for 12 months, working on a defined research project. Follow this link for details of this programme.
