Rates for Filming and Audio Recording

Normal office hours

The cost for filming and audio recording inside normal office hours i.e. between 9.00am - 5.00pm, Monday - Friday, are as follows...

Outside normal office hours

If you require an event to be filmed or recorded outside of normal office hours, then there will be an additional charge to cover personnel costs, which is detailed below...

NB: Please note that filming and recording can only be booked if the UCL Educational Media team personnel are available to cover the event; be that inside or outside normal office hours.

Please note: If UCL Educational Media do not have resource or capacity to cover your event, we can still manage the process for you, in the first instance we may pass your request on to another UCL provider or, we can arrange to use one of our freelance suppliers.

Location and Travel Fees

Many filming and audio recording jobs may require the Media Production team to travel long distances to film and record on location. Please note, any location and travel fees incurred, will be charged separately from our normal rates for filming and audio recording.

Live Streaming Event Broadcast

Live streaming or live event broadcasting, is seen as an additional extra addon to our Filming and Recording services. Therefore, when booking a live stream, please refer first to our Rates for Filming & Audio Recording costing section to get an idea of the total costs.

The additional charge for setting up and broadcasting a live stream is as follows:
