This theme explores how classifying patterns satisfies the human need to assign meaning and order to the world, and how cultural contexts and lived experiences affects this.

Patterns and People focusses on how human bodies are understood within science, how people use their hands and faces to communicate, and how people produce and design textiles.

Patterns and People is curated by students from the Museum Studies MA.
