We're based at UCL East, Marshgate. We're open Wednesdays 1pm to 4pm, the first Saturday of each month 11am to 4pm, or by appointment.

Sarah Byrne

Manager, The Culture Lab

The Culture Lab is led by Sarah Byrne, who joined UCL in 2024. Formerly Senior Curator of Anthropology at the Horniman Museum, she curated exhibitions with community and academic partners. At the Culture Lab, Sarah focuses on co-production and collaboration, working with communities across East London and beyond.

Camella's role focuses on conservation, collections care, audience engagement and accessibility for the UCL Culture Lab, including implementing preventive conservation measures for the Culture Lab’s exhibition space and collection store.
