Sam is working part-time for Meg Russell as a Research Assistant on her ongoing project studying the House of Lords, having previously worked full-time for the Unit from October 2019 - September 2020 in the parliament team, and as a Research Volunteer on the Brexit, Parliament and the Constitution project from July to September 2019.
Sam is currently undertaking an MSc in Democracy and Comparative Politics in the Department of Political Science at UCL, as part of an ESRC-funded UBEL DTP 1+3 Studentship which will examine cross-party working in the House of Commons. He graduated from the London School of Economics with a degree in Government in July 2019, writing a dissertation on the politics of the UK Supreme Court.
