Before joining the Unit in December 2019, Charlotte worked across social policy issues in charities and academia in Northern Ireland for two years. Most recently, she worked in the Campbell Centre UK & Ireland in Queen’s University Belfast as a Policy and Impact Officer where she led on translating complex research processes and findings into engaging formats for policy makers and practitioners. Charlotte also supported social sector organisations to improve their use of evidence in policy and practice decision-making through capacity building activities such as, training and workshops. Charlotte joins the Unit as an Impact Research Fellow, working across the Unit’s research areas. The aim of her role is to improve the real world impact of the Unit on policy-making and civil society.
Charlottes holds a Master’s degree in Global Issues and International Relations from the University of Nottingham.
