Patrick O’Brien is Senior Lecturer in Law in the School of Law at Oxford Brookes University. His research interests include general judicial studies, law and democracy, and constitutional theory.
He was previously Fellow in Public Law at the London School of Economics and worked at The Constitution Unit from 2011 to 2014 as Research Associate on the AHRC project on 'The Politics of Judicial Independence in the UK’s Changing Constitution’ and is co-author, with Robert Hazell, Kate Malleson and Graham Gee of the book of the same name.
