Brian pursues the interests with the Unit which he developed in his BBC career as Political Editor Northern Ireland, and as a lobby correspondent and Editor of Political and Parliamentary Programmes at Westminster.
Among his contributions are a chapter on the media for our book The Politics of Coalition,and research and interviews for the projects on Special Advisers and the Politics of Judicial Independence. He has also chaired a number of Unit meetings and seminars. He is currently working on a project exploring the development of a more civic approach to government by the power sharing administration in Northern Ireland. He is also available for media advice.
