Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Computational Materials Science, University College London, UK

We seek candidates to develop a research group in computational materials science. The successful candidate will become a member of the Condensed Matter and Materials Physics (CMMP) group in the Department of Physics & Astronomy at UCL and the Thomas Young Centre London for the Theory and Simulationof Materials and Molecules. The CMMP has close links with the London Centre for Nanotechnology (LCN) and other interdisciplinary centres and networks at UCL, e.g. the Institute for Materials Design (IMD).

Description: Arsenic atoms can be fully incorporated into the surface of germanium at room temperature, providing a route to scaling up donor-based quantum devices in semiconductors.
